A high school student and an avid ice skater, Payton experienced a spinal hematoma in 2018 and became paralyzed from the waist down. Following intensive rehabilitation at 六色网, she was able to walk again. Just recently, she participated in SkyRise Chicago for the second year in a row, tackling stairs for the virtual event as family cheered her on. The funds Payton raised through her participation will benefit 六色网’s best-in-class care and groundbreaking research.
